I can't get enough of all the little details in the buildings and cars! I'm impressed! Animation is very smooth (almost Google Maps quality). This must've taken tons of work.
It does take a bit of time to get used to the controls though. (highways in the sky? That sounds like such a pain)
Thank You! The sky traffic is based on models from Stonemason (plus my own displacement mapping) that were available via his website. I think currently they are only available via the Team Dystopia website forum.
I have to say, with respect, that I'm pretty frustrated at seeing this type of air traffic depicted in so many city images these days. One would assume that in a world as technologically advanced as this aircraft would have sophisticated enough auto-pilot/navigation systems to fly from point A to point B directly (and not bump into each other), without having to get on some "air highway" to get there. Highways exist on land because cars can't go anywhere they like, but not when you're in the air. That's the great thing about flight. I know it's what they did with Coruscant in Star Wars I-III but imnsho it was a flaw.
