Hey this is fun. I had to do one more. Here is a quick VR Flash version of a Dystopia city scape. Set up as an eco-system of city blocks in Vue 9 Infinite and rendered as six 1500*1500 images (~20 min per image) which were subsequently assembled into a Flash VR with Pano2Vr (Gardengnome Software).
You can pan and zoom using the mouse or on screen controls.
Now I need to get back to the next image in my "Did you hear that?" series...
Thanks! $5000 would be out of my range, too. But the Vue version of CityEngine 3 is only $199 at Cornucopia with a membership. That was well worth it to me (it has a bit of a learning curve though...).
I saw your posts at DAZ. Feel free to ask questions there or here (via the notes).
Thanks! This is just a basic eco-system in Vue. Not really a planned city. Just a basic grid. I have recently started to use "City Engine" to lay out and plan my cities. CE is a procedural city generator that allows to built up cities (and buildings) according to rule files. An amazing piece of software. Somewhat complex to use, but I am slowly getting the hang of it. You can check it out here: [link]
How long did it take to make this anyway? q:
